This policy explains what indieMX collects and why. It should be reviewed separately before it is treated as final legal wording.

What we collect

• Email address (for the submission and, if approved, a notification)
• Spotify track URL and related track information (including artist, title, and genres from Spotify)
• Basic technical information such as IP address used to rate-limit abuse

Artist email addresses are not shown on public pages.

Google reCAPTCHA

We use Google reCAPTCHA v3 on the submission form to protect it from spam and abuse. Google may collect hardware and usage data as described in Google’s privacy policy.

Use

We use this information to review submissions, publish approved tracks, email artists when a track goes live, and keep the site secure. We may introduce aggregated analytics later without collecting more personal information than needed.
